Description

Title: Something Else by the Kinks
Artist: THE KINKS
Condition: (Sleeve/Album):   VG/Ex-
Label: Pye Records ‎
Release Country: UK
Catalogue Number:  NPL 18193. Matrix: MPL 18193A-1, MPL 18193B-1
Additional Information: 1 x LP. Sleeve has worn edges from shelf life in keeping with its age (1967), plus small sticker damage top right corner, and someone has stock a small union jack flag on the rear. Plain inner sleeve is in excellent condition but might not be original. Vinyl has a nice shine for its age, but also a few scratches – nothing deep, and the label on side 2 again has small union jack glued to it. Main photo is generic, photos in gallery are of actual item.

Testing: This album has been play tested and plays with hardly any background noise during tracks – which is excellent for a record of pre 1970’s. However clicks and pops are especially evident between tracks extending to the last and first few seconds of the tracks on occasions. These are probably caused by someone ‘skipping’ to their favourite tracks (no fast forward or track skipping like on cassettes or CD’s) – and the stylus has come down a bit hard and left a click on the record surface.

For the condition of our sleeves and albums please see ‘How We Grade Albums’.
